summary
This
summer, the P&G Professional business needs a talented IT
manager to join its European team based in Geneva.
The professional arm of P&G is one of the 2 most
successful businesses in P&G worldwide. It sells cleaning
and hygiene products to operators in the Food Service and
Hospitality industry (restaurants, hotels, care homes,..). To
speed-up its growth even more, it embarked on a new
go-to-market strategy which includes adding services to its
offering to consumers. New business processes and systems have
to be designed and implemented and we need IT leadership to
make this happen.

Job
responsibilities
You
will lead the design, building and implementation of 2 new
business applications:
-
A
new e-commerce tool to manage contracts with our
consumers.

A
new Access based application to manage, track and pay the
services and equipments we provide to our consumers.
You
will work as part of a multi-functional team based in Geneva
and our lead test market. You will be coached by an
experienced IT Manager to provide you with help and guidance.
Job
requirements
You
will be the IT expert in a multi-functional team and will own
delivery of results within a short space of time. The
essential skills required for the job are:
- Creativity
with a bias towards solutions: You will need creativity to
link business issues with feasible technical solutions.

Technical
mastery: You will have to design and build new
applications based on Access and VB. Knowledge of these
technologies or related matters (database design for
example) would be an advantage.

Collaboration
and communication: Your progress will depend on your
ability to build productive and effective relationships
with your colleagues. You will have to inspire trust by
seeking first to understand and then to be understood.
